Mac and Emily’s Elegant Ranch Wedding took place at a venue near Atlanta. Reisen Ranch is located in Senoia, Georgia where they have acres of land that and best of all, mini horses. I loved that they brought them out for the guests to pet and for us to get a few photos.

A LITTLE ABOUT EMILY + MAC

Mac and Emily met in Atlanta at Emily’s housewarming party. Her roommate introduced them and they immediately hit it off. They have been together ever since.

These two live in Savannah, Georgia and spend their time riding their bikes, grabbing food and drinks in downtown, and hanging out with their friends (and their dog, Sadie) by the water.

THE COUPLE’S ELEGANT RANCH WEDDING

Mac and Emily chose Riesen Ranch in Senoia, Georgia for their elegant ranch wedding. Emily chose light blue and white for her wedding colors with greenery to compliment. It was the perfect combination! As you’ll be able to see in the photos below, everything was elegant and gorgeous.

This couple chose to have a first look and it was a great decision. We were able to capture so many incredible portraits of them and their wedding party before the wedding ceremony. Plus, their wedding party was able to go enjoy cocktail hour after the ceremony, and the bride and groom even got to enjoy the last 20-30 minutes of their cocktail hour as well.

Their friends and family gathered around the ceremony site to watch Mac and Emily say their vows. It was a warm and humid day, but we were so thankful that the rain held off for the day! The ceremony was beautiful and I especially loved that their officiant had them write a few notes about their story. Emily mentioned how she should have actually met Mac years ago because they went to the same college and had mutual friends, but timing really was everything and they met at the right time. Their story is so sweet, and I was so honored to capture this wedding ceremony.

After the ceremony, it was time to eat and dance. The couple chose a pizza food truck for dinner and it was delicious. I’m a sucker for charcuterie and pizza, and The Mule House Pizza did not disappoint. After dinner and toasts, their family and friends gathered on the dance floor and partied the rest of the night away. We finished off the wedding photos with a sparkler exit and it was the largest sparkler exit I’ve ever seen. It was the perfect end to the perfect day.
