Heart-warming and Passionate Winter Wedding at Glendalough Manor

This heartwarming and passionate winter wedding took place at Glendalough Manor in Tyrone, Georgia. This couple brings so much joy to their loved ones and their wedding was beautiful.

A LITTLE ABOUT THE BRIDE + GROOM

I love the story of how Josh and Courtney met each other. Courtney was at her women’s bible study when Josh accidentally interrupted. I like to think it was love at first site.

Courtney and josh are an adventurous and fun-loving couple. They love to travel and experience the world together. They are a collector of bonsai trees, intelligent, and one of the nicest couples I’ve ever met. Their love for each other is evident and the love their friends and family have for them is unmatched.

THE HEARTWARMING AND PASSIONATE WINTER WEDDING

Josh and Courtney decided to have their heartwarming and passionate winter wedding at Glendalough Manor in Tyrone, Georgia. The outside of this venue looks a little like a castle and I love it! In my opinion, it creates an elevated look and feel to your wedding The stone walls are beautiful backdrop for portraits, and their garden area is always beautiful.

This couple chose to decorate with winter greenery, trees, and small pops of red. The bridesmaids dresses were a dark green and Courtney chose an assortment of fabrics for a unique touch. This winter wedding was beautiful, but my favorite part of the day was seeing the love poured into these two.

For the ceremony, friends and family gathered around to watch Josh and Courtney say their vows. Courtney’s brother was their officiant and it really added a fun dynamic to their ceremony. At the beginning of the ceremony, their family came up and prayed with them before they said their vows. When it was time for the rings, the best man pulled out on old Coors beer can that had the rings in it. This was an inside joke between the couple, but it caused so many laughs and I love moments like that during the ceremony.

After the wedding ceremony, it was time to eat, drink, and celebrate. We took their family photos and a few more bride and groom portraits. Then, we headed off to the reception. This wedding reception was full of fun, laughter, and happy tears. The speeches were one of my favorite parts of the night. It’s so clear how much Courtney and Josh’s friends and family love them, and how these two are just incredible people with big hearts. Everyone danced the rest of the night away and the couple was sent off with sparklers, fireworks, and rain!
