Fun-Loving and Eclectic Engagement Session in Downtown Newnan for Josh + Courtney

Couple's fun-loving and eclectic engagement session in Downtown Newnan in fall.

This fun-loving and eclectic engagement session in Downtown Newnan was perfection. I love engagement sessions because it allows me to get to know my clients a little more and gives me more time to try a few more creative ideas. This session in Downtown Newnan gave me the chance to do all of these things. Scroll down to see more.

MEET JOSH + COURTNEY

Imagine sitting in your all-female bible study and all of a sudden, a man walks in and accidentally crashes it. Well, that’s how Josh and Courtney met! I love their story.

Courtney loves to be outdoors and loves to travel. She recently had a backpacking trip to Ireland and we were able to use a blanket she brought back from her travels during their session. These are the kind of details that bring a little extra joy to sessions.

Josh is a little more reserved and I would say he’s an intellectual. His mom used to be a photographer and it showed during the session. These two were both comfortable in front of the camera and love the candid look of photos. I would say they nailed it!

One thing that I loved about them is that they brought their bonsai trees to their engagement session. They love getting these trees together and I loved that they included them in their session. It adds such an authentic and eclectic touch to their session.

Planning their fun-loving and eclectic engagement session in Downtown Newnan

I think engagement sessions should really tell YOUR story. I love when we can plan sessions to be a little extra unique and authentic to your love story. We were able to do just that for Josh and Courtney’s fun-loving and eclectic engagement session in Downtown Newnan.

As we discussed options for engagement session, I asked Courtney if there was a place they loved to go together or what they do for date nights. These two have busy lives, but they love to stop by The Oink Joint in Downtown newnan and have dinner together. And honestly, downtown Newnan is one of my favorite locations for engagement sessions. There’s so many great areas to utilize.

We planned to meet at the courthouse and stroll through town to capture their photos. They shared champagne on the blanket Courtney brought back from Ireland in their Brumate cups and then we ended the session at Oink Joint so they could do enjoy dinner after.

I had so much fun with these two and I can’t wait for their wedding at the end of this year!
