MEET THE COUPLE + THEIR DOG

Brad and Karen are such a fun couple! And their dog, Gemma is such a cutie! Plus, she’s so well behaved! I love when couples bring their dog to their sessions! We decided to keep it local for this Couple session in Peachtree City, Georgia

Brad and Karen have actually known my husband for a while, but I didn’t meet them until I started working out at Burn Boot Camp in Peachtree City. They met my husband at one of his favorite local restaurants and bonded quickly. When he told me that Brad’s wife went to Burn, I just thought ‘small world’. He showed me Karen’s photo and my first thought was ‘Wait! I’ve seen her KILLING it at the gym’! So, the next time I saw her, I went up and introduced myself.

We started following each other on Instagram and became Facebook friends. We just rooted each other on with our gym progress and life updates! Then, Karen reached out to me for photos. I was so excited to talk about a session with her. She told me that they haven’t had professional photos done since their wedding 14 years ago! I felt so honored that she chose me!

FINDING THE PERFECT LOCATION FOR THEIR COUPLE SESSION IN PEACHTREE CITY

Karen wanted a bit of a casual session. No studio, no crazy outfits or make up. Just a session reflecting their love for each other and Gemma! The biggest question for us was the location.

I sent a few options for us to have their session in Peachtree City. We narrowed it down to two spots. It was either Drake Field or Line Creek. Karen really wanted to be able to see the beautiful fall colors in the trees. Line Creek had a little color, but nothing that really popped. And Karen trusted me to pick the best spot, so we went with Drake Field.

Although we were concerned about Gemma wanting to chase squirrels there, we decided it was worth the risk. Surprisingly, we only saw one squirrel to distract her, but she handled it well. Like I mentioned, she’s a well behaved dog!

The colors really showed up for this session and, honestly, I’m pretty obsessed with their entire Couple session in Peachtree City.
