Plasse’s Resort Wedding in California | Justin + Bailey

I am so excited to share Justin and Bailey’s Plasse’s Resort Wedding in California. These two are dear friends of ours and I was so honored to be a part of their wedding day.

A LITTLE ABOUT THE COUPLE

Justin happens to be my husband’s best friend, and we’ve both known him for years. You may recognize him from Maegan and Zach’s wedding earlier this year. He used to live in Georgia but he moved to California and started working at Kirkwood Mountain Resort where he met Bailey.

Bailey is from the area and was a ski instructor for the resort at the time. She originally met Justin through Tinder, but they were brought together by some mutual friends a few days later. As they introduced themselves, Justin yells out “Oh! You’re Tinder Bailey!” and it instantly became a joke between them and their friends.

They went on their first date on Halloween and their relationship really started to kick off that winter.

ABOUT THEIR PLASSE’S RESORT WEDDING IN CALIFORNIA

Justin and Bailey’s wedding weekend was nothing short of amazing. Their family and friends flew in from all over to celebrate these two.

As their wedding day approached, there was a large fire going on in California. And although we were not in the fire’s path, there was a lot of smoke around us. The day before their wedding got pretty bad and we were worried about the wedding day. Thankfully, as their ceremony came around, it cleared up a good bit and we were able to get perfect views.

This Plasse’s Resort Wedding was designed perfectly. The wedding was a camping theme. And since it was on a campground, most of the guests camped at the resort the night of the wedding. Bailey’s vision was so unique and it all came together so well. The mismatched bridesmaids dresses were some of my favorite. They brought together the colors perfectly and all looked incredible. And, everything was brought together at the reception.

I am personally so happy for these two. When we met Bailey, we knew that Justin found his perfect match. It was such a perfect day for these two and I am grateful that I got to capture it!
