Downtown Senoia Wedding | Jessica + Jarrod

First look for a Downtown Senoia Wedding

This year has given me the opportunity to photograph a lot of weddings for people that I care about! Jessica + Jarrod’s Downtown Senoia Wedding as no exception!

ABOUT THE COUPLE

I have known Jessica and her brothers for over 10 years now. We both met in the restaurant world back when we were servers. Her brother used to hang out with us a lot and I was blessed to be able to photograph her other brother’s elopement back in February.

I didn’t know Jarrod very well before their wedding day, but I can say that he is a fantastic chef. These two own a local restaurant in downtown Newnan called Knife and Stone. It’s one of my favorite places to eat. If you ever go, try the smoked old fashioned. It’s incredible. But, no matter what drink or meal you order, you can’t go wrong.

THEIR DOWNTOWN SENOIA WEDDING

Jessica and Jarrod planned their Downtown Senoia wedding at a record speed (1 MONTH!) and it was BEAUTIFUL! Jessica chose a colorful palette and I loved it! Plus, wait until you see Jessica’s shoes! They got ready at a family friend’s house across the street from the venue. There’s a little neighborhood there that used to be Alexandria in The Walking Dead. This was the first time I got to see the area without the big wall around it. And it had the PERFECT location for their first look and a few portraits!

After they got ready and we took a few portraits, it was time for their ceremony. They held the ceremony inside the Farmer’s Market where their friends and family gathered around to celebrate them. These two have been together for a long time and you could tell how excited their guest were to see them say their vows. To me, the best part was that they had their kids as their wedding party. So, their family got to stand at the altar with them as they got married.

After the ceremony, they took a few more family photos, ate an amazing Low Country Boil, and mingled with guest. They cut their cake and shared a first dance. One thing that was really important to these two was to have photos with their guests. I think we accomplished that really well!

I’m so happy for these two and I’m honored to be the one to capture their wedding day!
