Bell House Wedding in Alabama

February was full of beautiful weddings this year, and Patrick and Tammy’s wedding was no exception of that. These two invited their friends and family to gather together for their beautiful Bell House wedding in Alabama. It was a perfect day and a perfect wedding.

ABOUT THE COUPLE

Patrick and Tammy have a true ‘meant to be’ story. They have known each other for most of their lives. They have a great bond with each other’s family and the love they have for each other is electric. As they grew up, life pulled them in different directions. But they found their way back to each other and now they get to live their love story.

Watching these two interact with each other was so heartwarming. You can see the love they have for each other and how they are truly best friends. You can FEEL their love when looking at their photos. Tammy’s face says it all. Her smile shows how happy she truly is and the way her and Patrick look at each other shows TRUE love in their eyes.

I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Tammy a few years ago when I photographed her daughter’s wedding. And I’m so grateful she chose me to photograph her Bell House wedding in Alabama to continue their family’s story.

THEIR BELL HOUSE WEDDING IN ALABAMA

Patrick and Tammy chose February 19, 2022 for their Bell House Wedding in Alabama. This was the first time I’ve ever had a wedding at the Bell House before and the spot was PERFECT for this couple. I would describe it as classy and country. The getting ready area was inside the beautiful white house. The ceremony space was covered but open on the sides with a beautiful overlook behind their cross. And, the reception area was in a beautiful barn. The owners of this wedding venue are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met and really wanted to make sure this couple had the perfect day.

Tammy’s family is so important to her and they were so helpful during the wedding. Her daughters and now sister-in-law were her bridesmaids. Patrick’s dad was his best man. And their granddaughter was the flower girl. She also had her daughter’s sister-in-law (who may as well be a daughter-in-law to her) plan and coordinate the day. And WOW, did she do an AMAZING job. It was so heartwarming to see their family come together to make sure these two had the perfect wedding.

THE REST OF THE WEDDING DETAILS

Patrick and Tammy’s vision for their wedding fit the vibe of the venue. That classy and country mix. There was a perfect mix of magnolias, greenery, and antlers with little pops of pink added in. Their ceremony had a cross with beautiful floral arrangements on and around it.

During the ceremony, they let God be the center of it all. After Tammy’s son’s walked her down the aisle and gave her away, Tammy and Patrick joined hands and got ready to say their vows. They lit a unity candle, had communion, and tied God’s knot (the marriage braid).

After the ceremony, we took a few portraits. They did a first look before the wedding ceremony so we were able to get a few portraits and all the family photos done early. But they had a cool set up with a vintage love seat and antler chandelier with a white backdrop behind it. We struggled getting photos there earlier in the day because of the harsh sun. So we were able to capture those images later in the day and then we had a beautiful pink sunset to finish off their portraits.

Because we were able to get so many portraits done before the ceremony, Patrick and Tammy were able to spend a little alone time together after their ceremony. This is so important because wedding days are so crazy that you don’t really get the chance to be alone and soak each other up in bliss of the day. After they had a few minutes to themselves, it was time for the reception. We ate, they cut cake, and people danced. It was a perfect end to the perfect day.
