One of my favorite places to explore in Georgia is Providence Canyon. When I was little, I always heard of what we called “The Little Grand Canyon” but I could never remember going. As an adult, I went to visit and went down into the canyons and fell in love. I felt like I was back in Arizona exploring some unique landscapes for this Georgia girl. Capturing a canyon elopement is a dream come true.
When I got a chance to capture Daniel & Chelsea in this canyon, I was thrilled! Elopements are my favorite thing to photograph because it’s intimate, I get to know my clients better, and it’s always so much fun.
Since this was an elopement shoot, there were minimal details – which worked perfectly. Chelsea’s engagement ring is so unique and has a vintage vibe. Daniel and a jewelry designer friend of theirs custom designed this ring for her. Her favorite flower is a sunflower so they went off that for a starting point. It turned out perfectly. They got dressed and ready, and we hit the road to Providence Canyon.
Daniel & Chelsea compliment each other perfectly. They enjoy having fun together, they are creative, and they have great style. They laugh together, play together, and work together to make their lives perfect for them.
Chelsea was the perfect edgy and adventurous bride. She is a hair and make up stylist for weddings and personal. So naturally, her hair and make up were flawless. Daniel is a great musician! We found a little spot in the park that was super private and had a mini little concert in the middle of our hike. We pulled out the beers and jammed out for a while. And he played a song from my all time favorite band, Taking Back Sunday, as a little treat for us. Best Session Ever.
This canyon elopement session was so much fun and all around perfect. I am excited to show off these photos.
