Historic Rice Mill Wedding – Charleston, SC

Alissa & Matt are two of the most incredible people I’ve ever met! During their engagement session, we walked around and they picked up trash that was littered as we walked. That is when I knew that this couple was MY kind of people! And, they haven’t disappointed me since.

They are two of extremely kind hearted, fun loving, and all around good people. And their friends and family fell right into that category once I met everyone on their wedding day!

Destination weddings are my favorite, so once Alissa told me that they were getting married in Charleston, SC, I knew it was going to be incredible! And, I was right!

My team and I got in the car and drove up to Charleston Thursday morning. We spent the day walking around and exploring all the amazing things that Charleston has to offer. Then we went and scoped out the spot where the bride was getting ready and the extremely beautiful venue, The Historic Rice Mill. I immediately fell in love with the place and felt so inspired by all the beauty!

Then, on Friday, it was WEDDING TIME! After they got ready, we walked to streets for some photos and then headed off the Historic Rice Mill venue. Everything looked so beautiful and of course so did the couple! It was a perfect ceremony full of their loved ones! You could see the love in Matt & Alissa’s eyes as they exchanged their vows. The entire day was full of laughter, fun, and dancing… you know, the PERFECT wedding day! After the ceremony, we got to get some bride & groom photos and these two are just… GOALS! They love to have fun together and laugh together and you can see it throughout all their photos. Once we were done with photos, it was time for the reception! They had an amazing band play, amazing food, and a very delicious cake!

It was a perfect wedding day for this perfect couple. Their next adventure is their big move to Florida and they plan on having a honey moon later on in SPAIN! (Totally jealous!) I am so thankful that I got to be their photographer and that this adventure has turned us into friends! I love my SAP couples so much and they are definitely no exception to that!
