Turnipseed Nursery Farm – Fayetteville, GA
Jessica & Chase wanted a garden setting for their engagement session. Jessica loves pops of color and wanted that color to translate into their photos. After discussing a few different venues for their session, we agreed that Turnipseed Nursery Farm in Fayetteville, GA would be a perfect spot for this garden engagement session.
For every engagement photo session, I send a questionnaire to the couple so that I can prepare for their session better and get to know them a little more. One of the questions I ask is “what would make this feel more like a date?” – They answered with a picnic! Which seemed perfect for the garden themed photos.
We started their session with just a few photos in their new home with their 2 cats. While the cats didn’t love being social, we still were able to get a few photos to remind them of this time in their first home together!
After we snapped a few photos in their home, we went to Turnipseed Nursery to finish their engagement session. We walked around and tried to remember to NOT run from the geese. I was terrified. They were NOT happy we were in their space. But, we stayed safe and worked around them without too much disturbance. It was definitely entertaining.
I sent Jessica a vision board for her session and she did a perfect job at getting beautiful food for her picnic in the garden! She brought it with the fruits and cheese. The food has a perfect pop of color. And the best part? They shared their picnic with me after the session was over!
Their session is one of my favorite sessions so far! I can’t wait to celebrate them on their wedding day in December at Berry College.
