Blake and Tori’s Eclectic Wedding at Monday Night Garage in Atlanta, Georgia was full of fun, eccentric details, and love. This couple has a sophisticated edge and a fun-loving personality that came through on their wedding day.

ABOUT THE COUPLE

Tori met Blake at the local skatepark here in Newnan, Georgia when Tori got a job there at the age of 16. I was lucky enough to meet both of them during this time too. Although they haven’t dated for the entire (almost) 20 years, they were always friends. At the wedding, one of Blake’s friends looked over at him and said “it’s always been her”, and I just remember thinking how perfect these two are for each other.

These two currently live in Salt Lake City, Utah, but they exchanged wedding vows a year ago in their backyard in Atlanta before they moved. Although they were already technically married, they wanted to celebrate their love with their family and friends. So, they decided to have a wedding and invite 100 of their friends and family.

THEIR ECLECTIC WEDDING AT MONDAY NIGHT GARAGE

Blake and Tori chose Monday Night Garage for their wedding ceremony and reception. Monday Night has some of the best beer in Georgia and their event space has a fun, funky, eccentric atmosphere. It was a perfect location for this couple.

Tori and her bridesmaids got ready at Hotel Clermont in Atlanta. This place matched their eclectic and edgy style perfectly. Every detail of the room was thought out and perfectly quirky. To top it off, Tori got all the girls JUICY sweatsuits to get ready in. We went up to the rooftop and popped champagne with the Atlanta skyline behind us for the perfect photos!

After everyone finished getting ready, we all headed to the venue. Meanwhile, Blake and Tori had their amazing wedding party help set up for the wedding. They all spent the time to make sure they decorated with Tori’s vision for the day. They have a real dream team set of friends!

One of my favorite things about this eclectic wedding at Monday Night Garage is that the couple included their dog, Captain. In addition to having him as a part of the wedding day, they even planned their wedding colors to match him. Dusty blue was the color they chose. And it really was a great match! He walked down the aisle, barked when everyone clapped for their kiss, and got plenty of treats throughout the day.

After the ceremony and portraits, Tori had an outfit change. She chose a really fun short dress, kept her veil on, had some white fishnets that sparkle, and white cowboy boots to top it off. It was incredible. This wedding was special to me because I basically grew up with the wedding party. So, we all ate pizza and danced the night away.

I am so honored to photograph these moments, and it’s always special when I know the couple on a personal level. And, their eclectic wedding at Monday Night Garage fit them so perfectly!
