Anniversary Session in Peachtree City, Georgia

Jessica and Austin’s Anniversary Session

Happily-ever-after’s are no doubt my favorite part of any love story.  That is why I was so excited to help capture the joy that Austin and Jessica were feeling as they celebrated their first wedding anniversary together with this special shoot.  This session was filled with so much love and so many laughs, and I can’t wait to share it with my SAPPY family.

About the location:

For this session, we met during golden hour at a beautiful field in Peachtree City, Georgia. It was a gorgeous evening and the sky was dusted with a beautiful amber light– perfect for a romantic and sentimental session.

Throughout the session, we discovered that the field was a bit muddier than expected, but my clients are the best, and Jessica and Austin were no exception!  The pair were not only troopers through all of it, but they embraced the little surprises that came our way.  We had a blast watching their new goldendoodle puppy, Remi, run through the field. Through all of it, it was apparent that this little family is so truly filled with love and laughter.  

Their Story:

While preparing for the shoot, I asked the couple what their favorite past times are, and Jessica simply replied that, “There isn’t one specific thing that is our favorite. We just genuinely enjoy being together, no matter what we’re doing.”

During the shoot, I was able to really see this in action.  There were moments when it felt as though I was witnessing magic, seeing the way the two looked at one another. This is something that I really wanted to capture during our time together.

Jessica and Austin have known each other since a seventh grade literature class, and dated all throughout high school.  They are truly sweethearts– possessing the type of love that storybooks are made of. They said “I do.” on March 23, 2018 at Macedonia Hills.   

A few of their favorite things:

Austin says his favorite thing about Jessica is her laugh, and Jessica says that she loves that Austin is always willing to do so much for others.  My favorite thing about this SAPPY couple is that it is clear that they are not only partners, but best friends as well.

A note to the couple:

To see you two together is to know that you are truly witnessing love, and I am simply overjoyed that you allowed me to help tell your story.  I hope that every mundane moment becomes magic, and every chore becomes a game. I hope that the years ahead are filled with belly-laughs and tender kisses. I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for you both.
