This wedding holds a very dear place in my heart. Melissa has been a friend of mine for 3.5 years and I got to see her fall in love with Darrin from the very beginning. They met at work and she immediately started to tell me how cute she thought he was! He, obviously, thought the same thing about her! They started talking and hit it off immediately.
I couldn’t imagine her being with anyone else after I saw them two together. He gets her personality, and he has the same sense of humor! They have the most adorable inside jokes, they love to laugh together, and they have a beautiful kid together! (And, Darrin has a beautiful 14 year old daughter that is just the best big sister!) But the biggest thing they share is their sense of adventure. Melissa loves to experience new things, she loves to kayak on the river, and she just loves the outdoors! And, Darrin goes exploring with her through all of it!
Their wedding was so perfect for them. We hiked to the ceremony spot where her amazing best friend & her friend’s husband set up a beautiful area for her! It was a very small and intimate wedding and there was a reception at the river park pavilions, where their friends and family gathered around to celebrate them! The best part is that they got in the water after the ceremony! Melissa was still in her wedding dress! It was so much fun!
We cut the beautiful cakes by Beautifully Baked by Bonne and enjoyed socializing for the rest of the evening. The park closed at 8, but we were able to stop at the overlook area and grab some beautiful sunset photo above the river before we left!
And shout out to my husband for snapping some photos of me with the beautiful bride and her beautiful bridesmaid!
Congratulations Melissa & Darrin! You made such a beautiful bride & groom! I love you guys and I’m so happy for you!
