Meet April & Greg

Their Love Story

Timing is everything, and sometimes a wonderful love story takes a few chapters to really begin. That was the case with April and Greg. They met as students in college. However, they were just friends then. They went their separate ways after college and thought that was it.

But, destiny intervened! April and Greg ended up meeting again in Chattanooga. Once they spent some time together, they just couldn’t get enough of each other! They fell in love with each other’s warmth and sense of humor. They knew they had found their soulmates. 

At the time, they didn’t live in the same city. But, they spent so many nights on the phone talking to each other and learning more about each other.

Luckily, the ended up in our beautiful and historical town in Newnan, Georgia and Greg proposed! April happily said yes and they started planning their wedding! 

Their Engagement Session

When April reached out to me to be their wedding photographer, I was thrilled! I met her and Greg at a local coffee shop to discuss all the details and as soon as I got to sit down and get to know them, I was so excited and so honored to be their photographer! We got a long so well and they are just amazing people! 

When we met for this engagement session, I was so excited! First we strolled in the park by Downtown Newnan. The Georgia flowers were in full bloom, creating a backdrop of color. Then we stopped at one of the town’s many beautiful churches and captured some breathtaking images that combined the beauty of this engaged couple and the most amazing architecture. We expected a warm and sunny spring day, however, it end up being a cold and rainy day. Luckily, the rain was over by the time we started the session! But, it was still windy and overcast! They were such good sports though! And you would never know how cold they were from these photos! We were having too much fun to worry about the weather!

April mentioned at the end of the session that she doesn’t usually feel comfortable in front of the camera, but I would have never guessed! They were pros! In every pose and every candid shot, they had so much fun, showing their playful personalities. But while they enjoyed their silly sides, they also have a deep romantic connection, which shined through in all their photos.

With all the chemistry they showed on camera as an engaged couple, the wedding pictures will be even more amazing. I know it’s going to be a beautiful wedding day as they start the next chapter of their love story.
